Job Description
Summary
The lab is looking for a motivated and responsible technician to provide technical assistance for team research and lab maintenance. The technician be highly organized and detail oriented. The lab provides an interactive and stimulating environment and opportunities for growth. The technician is expected to perform assays that includes mouse husbandry, genotyping, real time RT-PCR, Western blotting, cell culture, etc.
Job Duties
- Workswith mice.
- Provides technical assistance for team research and lab maintenance.
- Performs assays that includes mouse husbandry, genotyping, real time RT-PCR, Western blotting, cell culture, etc.
- Collects, analyzes and appropriately documents experimental results.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Basic Science or related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
- No experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in mouse husbandry and molecular cloning is desirable.
- Has excellent time management and organizational skills.
