ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic individual to fill the role of Global Access Strategy & Pricing Franchise Lead for our Primary Care, PAXLOVID / Respiratory Diagnostics assets. In this position, you will play a critical role in driving the achievement of our global business objectives by providing strategic guidance on market access, pricing, reimbursement, channel strategy, launch sequencing, and patient access barriers, with a specific focus on affordability.

This team leader will function with an enterprise mindset and lead matrix teams to ensure a coordinated view on strategy and implementation. She/he will join the Primary Care GAV LT and become a strategic thought partner on prioritized initatives.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement the access strategy and pricing for our COVID-19 inline assets (Paxlovid and Lucira by Pfizer molecular diagnostics).
  • Provide strategic guidance on market access to optimize reimbursement and ensure patient access.
  • Lead the development of team members and build strong partnerships across Global Access & Value (GAV), country Access & Value colleagues
  • Collaborate seamlessly within GAV and across functions and regions Function with a One Pfizer mindset, serving as a cross-disciplinary Access matrix team leader and strategic partner including sharing insights for next wave launches.
  • Join the Primary Care GAV LT to identify synergistic and coordinated view on strategy and delivery.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience required in market access, pricing, reimbursement, corporate affairs, channel strategy within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of payer and market dynamics, with a focus on COVID-19 and/or respiratory disease preferred
  • US or HTA market experience preferred.
  • Experience in diagnostic reimbursement preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement value and access strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build strong partnerships and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to provide guidance and make informed decisions based on market insights.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $226,200.00 to $377,000.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 25.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
