The successful candidate:

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team, responsible for conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and administering therapies to patients. In addition to patient care, this role involves educating patients and caregivers on the benefits of Physical Therapy and assisting with departmental clerical tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical therapy needs and formulate personalized treatment plans.

  • Administer prescribed treatments and tests under physician guidance to facilitate patient rehabilitation and recovery.

  • Assist with non-patient-related duties such as departmental clerical tasks, charge posting, and maintaining cleanliness within the Rehabilitation Department.

  • Availability to work between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, including Saturday shifts, in this PRN (as-needed) position.

  • Commit to a minimum of four to five shifts per four-week period, with no holiday requirements.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • Graduate or holder of a certificate/diploma from an APTA approved school of Physical Therapy or a school recognized by the World Congress of Physical Therapy.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience preferred, with acute care experience highly valued.

  • Inpatient experience preferred.

Certifications/Licensure:

  • Must be licensed in the state of Georgia, or possess a current temporary license, or be prepared to pass the state licensure examination.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $36.72 - $60.47 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
