Identity and Access Management (IAM) owns and operates global world-class services that ensure people have access to what they need and only what they need to perform their role. IAM services are essential to help protect Pfizer from cybersecurity threats and ensure adherence to compliance requirements. IAM manages the lifecycle of corporate identities, Pfizer’s Contractor Management system (GetAccess), authentication services, digital credential services, access review services.  The systems and services are highly customized commercial or open-source solutions.

The Identity Lifecycle Engineer is responsible for all development and support functions for Pfizer’s Contractor Management System (GetAccess).  GetAccess is a Global system, developed by Pfizer which is utilized by 90,000+ Colleagues, 65,000+ Contingent Workers and designated Lightspeed critical. GetAccess is one of 12 SOX systems at Pfizer which is audited yearly by External and Corporate Audit teams.  The Identity Lifecycle landscape consists of an HR IS system (GetAccess), 6 client facing applications and 10+ external systems.

GetAccess is a proprietary, in-house developed, SOX system and the job requirements for this role are considered specialized.  The Engineer will work with the Product Owner and Service Lead on enhancements, continuous improvements and guide the work activities of other developers and technical resources.  This role is responsible for the end-to-end technical implementation, ongoing operations, and audit representation of Pfizer’s Contractor Management system (GetAccess).  The responsibilities also include requirements gathering and definition, technical design and specification, development, testing, and implementation support. The Identity Lifecycle Engineer will develop new solutions and maintain existing technology of the world class global Identity Lifecycle services.

Role Responsibilities

  • Maintain, enhance, document, and develop fixes for Pfizer’s in-house proprietary Contractor Management System (GetAccess).

  • Develop and deploy specialized solutions to ensure that Identity Lifecycle services are performing according to specifications, meet defined procedures, and comply with applicable information security policies ensuring all SOX requirements are met.

  • Integrate applications and third-party products with internal custom solutions and services.

  • Deploy Operating System patches and Code (.Net) version upgrades.

  • Partner with internal teams to define and implement solutions that improve Pfizer processes and end user experiences.

  • Collaborate with the Product Owners, Support Lead, Service Delivery Manager, and customers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Develop, document, and maintain service patterns used for application integrations.

  • Manage technical work activities of contingent worker resources to support enhancements and continuous improvements to services.

  • Support 24x7 management and oversight of BAU operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or relevant discipline.

  • 5+ years of software design and development, including at least 3 years developing custom software for large scale Identity and Access Management solutions.

  • 5+ years’ experience supporting Oracle databases.

  • 3+ years supporting the development, bug fixes and enhancements for a .NET  Contractor Management System with 10,000 or more Contingent workers.

  • 3+ years of participation in a SOX audit with a strong understanding of applicable laws and regulations including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and GXP quality regulations and guidelines.

  • Strong .NET, VB, Power Shell development skills.

  • Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)

  • Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to write and verbally articulate industry terminology to interact at a technical level, management level, and senior executive level.

  • Ability to articulate and communicate technical issues with both technicians and nontechnical customer and stakeholder audiences.

 PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • No special physical requirements.  Applicants should be capable of working through a personal laptop computer or mobile device for extended periods.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Respond to requests on short notice, which may require working during extended hours, weekends, and holidays.

  • Limited travel may be required.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $99,900.00 to $166,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 15.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
