What You Will Achieve

Third Shift Supervisor of Biotherapeutics Drug Product Manufacturing position responsible for overseeing the sanitization of multiple clinical manufacturing facilities at the Andover Site.  Ensuring execution and review of batch records as needed for AN-LDM manufacturing support, following site approved standard operating procedures (SOP) inside the Andover Liquid Dose Manufacturing Facility (AN-LDM), Andover Clinical Manufacturing Facility (ACMF) and Andover Cell Banking Facility (ACBF).  This position will ensure all operation tasks are carried out following approved GMP procedures and that all staff are properly trained for their assigned tasks.  The incumbent will assign tasks to operators, mentor them ensure GMP tasks are documented compliantly, and ensure work is completed in a timely manner. 

How You Will Achieve It

The third shift supervisor is tasked with assigning daily tasks to operators, ensuring daily sanitization activities are performed according to approved SOPs across multiple suites.  The Supervisor is knowledgeable and experienced in all tasks related to the sanitization of facilities.  Additionally, they are tasked with communication of daily activities to other support groups and departments, ensuring completion and review of executed Drug Product batch records. Furthermore, the Supervisor will ensure they and their team are trained appropriately, which may include training and mentoring other operators.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Biotechnology Certificate
  • 3+ years’ Experience in Aseptic sanitization operations
  • Experience in cGMP compliance and documentation as related to manufacture of biologics.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; authoring of SOPs.
  • Comfortable with training new operators
  • Absence of any medical restrictions which could restrict completion of all required duties.
  • Must be able to meet gowning requirements.
  • Ability to read, understand and follow written instructions.
  • Current understanding of working under cGMP regulations
  • Ability to communicate with peers, supervisors, and interdepartmental support groups.
  • Schedule and delegate daily operations task as needed.
  • Ensure execution of batch records, and approved SOPs

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Role tasks will include frequent bending, lifting (up to 40 pounds) and twisting motions.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Role is third shift support, 9:00pm to 5:30am

Team will be split with another third shift supervisor.


Work Location Assignment: On Premise


The annual base salary for this position ranges from $64,600.00 to $107,600.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
