What You Will Achieve
Position purpose is to provide Finance Operations support to SAP corporate reporting, statutory accounting, local treasury for Serbia organization, including support to Central Balkan Countries (CBC) finance operations activities. Performing local processes related to assisting with corporate books preparation. Organize statutory reporting based on SAP ERP including adjustments in statutory ledger. Liaise with external services provider concerning tax reporting (CIT, VAT) and ensure related accounting records, as well as with auditors. Ensure financial role related to PT&E, provide finance operational support to internal and external stakeholders, including support regarding payroll.
As a Senior Associate, your knowledge and skills will contribute towards the goals and objectives of the team. Your innovative use of communication tools and techniques will facilitate in explaining difficult issues and establishing consensus between teams.

How You Will Achieve It

Statutory financial reporting and US GAAP and corporate procedures reporting activities:

• Participate in local part of statutory financial reporting activities in Serbia, organize local part of financial activities in Central Balkan Countries (CBC)
• Perform and ensure local activities GBS Hub SAP driven local activities for I2P, T&E, FA, intecompany, other corporate financial reporting activities and R2R processes. Ensure financial review role related to Concur.  
• Participate in improving in quality and development of the financial accounts and processes.
• Assist Finance Market Operations Lead Adriatic, corporate compliance and CCR regarding ad hoc reporting and inquiries.
• Audits
• Coordination of in-market internal corporate as well as statutory audits; provision of required analyses/information/backup/explanations
• Support other audits (tax audits, social insurance etc.);
• Support Payroll related activities;
• Participate in projects involving financial operations;
• Advise and support Local chart of accounts and Cost Centers incl. necessary updates; liaise with compliance; liaise with Commercial departments and functions.

Qualifications

• Related accounting experience, along with understanding of managing multi-national accounting operations
• University degree in a relevant discipline required (Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent)
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Very good knowledge of ERP solutions (preferably SAP) and analytical tools
• Knowledge of local statutory & corporate financial reporting rules & internal controls framework
• Strong attention to detail and international orientation, ability to work effectively under and manage to strict production, time and performance deadlines
• Analytical skills
• Fluent English - written and spoken
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, organizational skill, and attention to detail
• Excellent oral, written, and overall communication skills
