Rehabilitation Therapy Aide

The successful candidate:
Assists the Oncology Rehabilitation and Wound Care staff in the delivery of treatment by: The stakeholder will greet/transport/escort/educate patients, caregivers and other staff members about the department and how to efficiently/effectively gain access to treatment or scheduling; providing set-up assistance to licensed therapists for patient evaluations and treatments; provides daily preparation of all treatment areas; and champions Infection Control and Safety issues for the department.
This position will also provide organizational, clerical, interpersonal and patient relations assistance to Oncology Rehabilitation Leadership and department personnel while assisting daily with scheduling, chart audits and departmental data collection and reporting.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: 2-3 year of professional experience office setting
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Special Skills: Excellent customer service and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational skills, effective written communication skills

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $17.00 - $24.15 / hour
The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
