Job Description
Full-time, 9-month (AY-Fall and Spring), Tenure track position with salary and rank commensurate with qualifications and experience. Teaching responsibilities include classroom and clinical instruction in the pre-licensure BSN Program. Other responsibilities include academic advising of students; participation in ongoing curriculum development and evaluation; committee assignments, and active engagement in scholarly activities. The department also seeks candidates who will contribute to the University’s general education curriculum with its emphasis on a common First Year Seminar and core curriculum courses that enhance student’s critical thinking, and the College’s support of interdisciplinary program of study.
Location MU - Marshall University
Salary Range Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and internal equity.

Must be able to perform all essential job duties as outlined in the job description.
Required Qualifications
Education
Applicants must have a master’s degree in nursing. Must hold an unencumbered license (or be eligible for licensure) as an RN in West Virginia.

Experience
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in medical-surgical nursing is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Education
Doctoral degree in nursing is preferred.
