The School of Nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) invites applications and nominations for a full time nursing faculty position in Graduate Clinical Programs. This position will have a primary assignment in the DNP program and will consult with all undergraduate and graduate programs in the integration of population health into the curriculum.

Faculty may elect different degrees of emphasis on the teaching, service and scholarship components of the faculty role. Rank, tenure, and salary are competitive and commensurate with professional background and experience. This is not a remote position.

The UAB School of Nursing’s legacy of leadership is focused on the integration of research, education, and clinical practice and evidenced in more than 22,000 alumni serving as expert clinicians, executive nurse leaders, deans and directors of nursing programs, nurse scientists, advanced practice registered nurses, and other professional leaders. The School is ranked in the top nursing schools nationwide by U.S. News and World Report and offers innovative baccalaureate, post-baccalaureate, master’s, post-master’s, doctoral and post-doctoral programs. Required Qualifications
Expertise and experience in population health
A doctorate in nursing or a related field
An unencumbered registered nurse license in the state of Alabama or eligibility for licensure as a RN in AL
