The successful candidate:

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for contributing to marketing projects, branding, and community engagement at City of Hope Phoenix focused on the healthcare care professional (HCP) audience. The Marketing Specialist will leverage content to create and design dynamic clinical marketing materials, messaging, events, and campaigns that will positively impact the brand reputation and engage the physician community to choose City of Hope Phoenix. The specialist will work with the Marketing Manager to provide the Physician Relations Management (PRM) team with assets for distribution. This role will analyze the clinical landscape, learn the clinical competitive landscape, and leverage insights to develop hyper-local marketing assets to build trust and loyalty with the goal of increasing patient access. The role will nurture strong relationships with City of Hope Phoenix physicians and clinical teams at the hospital and clinics to be able to develop clinical assets.

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for gathering information at the hospital level pertaining to new service line opportunities, technology advancements, growth initiatives, brand equity and awareness. The role will ensure project deliverables are met in a timely manner and conduct weekly project status meetings with the Marketing Manager and Executive Director.

The Marketing Specialist will collaborate with the Marketing Manager, Physician Relations Manager, and existing system partners to work cross functionally with hospital teams to support the hospital and increase brand awareness within the community.

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of Marketing or Communications or equivalent experience.

  • Mass Media knowledge – traditional and digital.

  • Experience managing relationships with external partners.

  • Knowledge of concepts of marketing, social media, communications, and public relations.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in marketing, public affairs, communications, business management or related field preferred.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $27.75 - $45.67 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
