City of Hope is seeking a Postdoctoral Program Manager to manage programmatic and operational administration for the Postdoctoral Training Office (PTO) with high autonomy. Collaborates with research, administrative, medical, and support personnel. Oversees budget administration. Requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, self-motivation, and creativity. Serves as primary contact for programs and external constituents.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Manage postdoc appointments and reappointments, including offer letters, performance appraisals, and term limits.
  • Lead and coordinate PTO policies, procedures, programs, and events such as orientations, poster sessions, educational courses, and social events.
  • Administer the PTO travel award program and support postdoctoral representation at meetings.
  • Maintain databases, records, and networks (intranet, internet, social media) for postdoc data tracking and communication.
  • Serve as the primary contact for the Postdoctoral Association Steering Committee and assist with alumni tracking and networking resources.
  • Oversee HR functions for postdoctoral fellows, including hiring, onboarding, termination, benefits, and immigration assistance.

Your qualifications should include:

· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· At least five years of progressively responsible business management experience in an academic or research environment, including budget management.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $38.11 - $59.07 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
