The Clinical Trials Manager (CTM) provides leadership and oversight for Portfolio Supervisors and disease teams, ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory standards. The CTM supports strategic priorities in research operations, enhancing interdepartmental communication, developing best practices, and ensuring protocol compliance and quality data collection. This role involves independent decision-making and significant responsibility for managing clinical research activities and meeting local regulatory requirements. The candidate must have strong clinical trial management skills, leadership abilities, and the capability to coordinate teams effectively while building and maintaining relationships with investigators and external partners. The CTM is accountable for protocol performance and compliance, overseeing collaboration with functional outsourced vendors, and managing study budgets and resources. Additionally, the CTM facilitates communication with external sponsors and oversees multi-site clinical trials, requiring high expertise, judgment, and organizational skills.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Update and enhance the protocol acuity scoring system.
  • Create and implement standardized policies and procedures.
  • Utilize rounding boards and staff huddles to support organizational goals.
  • Support departmental implementation of new technology and services.
  • Ensure protocol compliance and provide recommendations for corrective action.
  • Lead the preparation for external audits and develop corrective action plans.
  • Support efforts to recruit and maintain competent clinical research staff.
  • Provide financial input and manage budget preparations for the disease team portfolios.

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Seven or more years’ experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator with 2 or more years supervisory experience
  • Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP)

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $53.08 - $88.64 / hour
