MRI Technologist Lead - Radiology Imaging

The MRI Technologist Lead performs a variety of technical and supervisory procedures within the MRI department. This role involves supervising the workflow in the MRI section and ensuring the maintenance of quality control standards for MRI units. Responsibilities include conducting MRI procedures, overseeing the daily activities of MRI technologists, managing scheduling and staffing, providing training and support to staff, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards. Strong leadership skills and technical expertise in MRI procedures are essential for maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
Hours for this role (subject to change to Evenings in the future): 11:00am - 07:30pm
As a successful candidate, you will:
- Prepare schedules, assists in selecting personnel, evaluates performances and makes recommendations for personnel actions
- Assist in developing and recommending department operating budget and ensures that the MRI department operates within budget
- Act as a technical resource for technologists in the MRI department.
Your qualifications should include:
- High School or equivalent; Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training; Experience may substitute for minimum education requirements
- 5 years MRI experience, preferably within a hospital setting
- Registered by ARRT;
- MRI advanced registry exam certification
- CPR (American Heart Association)

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $51.69 - $77.53 / hour
