Job Description
Moffitt Cancer Center’s Department of Diagnostic Imaging & Interventional Radiology invites applications for a faculty appointment in the Body Imaging Division. We are a hybrid academic practice affiliated with the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine with university appointments available. Our faculty serve as core members for the USF Health Department of Radiology Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology residency programs.
The rapidly expanding Body Imaging section operates 7 CT, 8 MRI, and 4 PET/CT scanners. Faculty members from the section participate in 15 disease-focused multidisciplinary clinical conferences each week. A large number of research and teaching opportunities are available. All investigator-initiated clinical trials at Moffitt include a radiologist as co-investigator. The Imaging Research program receives about $7 million per year in NIH funding and includes 1400 sq. ft. of wet lab space, a full animal imaging suite, and sophisticated image analytic and mathematical modeling capabilities. Dedicated academic time is provided and PhD-level scientists are employed by the department to assist the clinical faculty in their research efforts.
Successful candidates must have an M.D. degree or equivalent, a Florida medical license or be eligible for one, and be board certified/eligible in Radiology. Fellowship training in body imaging is strongly preferred. Prefer experience in a multi-disciplinary academic clinical practice setting.

Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute, Florida’s only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, is a rapidly growing center affiliated with the University of South Florida. The Cancer Center is comprised of a large ambulatory care facility, a 206-bed hospital, with a 36-bed blood and marrow transplant program, 20 state of the art operating suites, a 30-bed intensive care unit, a high-volume screening program, and a basic science research facility. The Moffitt Research Institute (MRI) is comprised of approximately 160 Principal Investigators, 58 laboratories, and 306,000 square feet of research space.
