The successful candidate:
Must be able to work PRN/As Needed. Days or Nights available, with high preference for WEEK DAYS and WEEK NIGHTS.
Plan, direct and evaluate overall nursing care.
Coordinate the activities of the nursing units and makes staffing assignments.
Monitor and educate the nursing staff.
Respond to emergency situations as necessary.
Must be accountable for practicing within the defined scope of practice for the Registered Nurse.
Commit to providing safe, quality nursing care.
Qualifications
Your qualifications should include:
Current Georgia RN license from an accredited college
BSN required or enrolled within 6 months of hire and BSN completed within three years from hire date
BLS (Obtain AHA certification within 30 days of hire)
ACLS (Obtain AHA certification within 30 days of hire)
Five to eight years oncology nursing experience preferred
Minimum of one year of RN charge management experience in the last three years in acute health care setting preferred
Strong background in medical/surgical care and/or intensive care procedures preferred

City of Hope employees pay is based on the following criteria: work experience, qualifications, and work location.
Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $37.82 - $62.28 / hour
The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
