The Classroom Behavioral Analyst supports students and patients across the Center for Autism, working closely with classroom staff and interdisciplinary teams to assess, develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans. This role is highly collaborative and hands-on, requiring daily presence in the classroom to support students ages 2 to 22. Class sizes typically range from 7 to 10 students, allowing for focused, individualized care.

Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing interventions to both increase and decrease target behaviors, delivering in-the-moment behavioral support, and participating in the training and supervision of staff.

The Behavioral Analyst also communicates regularly with families, teachers, and other care providers to ensure a cohesive approach to treatment and maintains compliance with all relevant policies and regulatory standards.

A caregiver in this position works M-F, from 8:00AM – 5:00PM.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Participate in intake process for potential students/clients, conduct initial and ongoing assessments, develop and monitor treatment plan/goals, and generate and maintain appropriate documentation.

  • Initiate and complete functional behavioral assessments, develop behavioral treatment plans, monitor progress on plans, and make modifications as needed.

  • Participate in new and ongoing staff training, conduct BCBA and RBT/CBT supervision, train staff/parents on goals and plans, and conduct ongoing fidelity checks

  • Lead community workshops and present at local conferences as needed.

  • Communicate with parents, educators, insurance companies and other professionals regarding progress and submit required documentation.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education or a related field

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Certified Ohio Behavior Analyst (COBA) within 6 months of hire

  • 3 years of experience working with autistic individuals utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • 3 years of experience working with varying ages and ability levels, conducting behavioral assessments, creating and implementing treatment plans, and training parents and staff

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting students, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination, physically able to manage students of varying weight and sizes.

  • Requires normal or corrected vision and hearing.

  • May be exposed to communicable diseases.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
