Summary
The Registered Nurse II serves as a key member of the Baylor Medicine Concierge and Executive Health programs. This position supports high-touch patient populations including corporate executives, high-income families, and Baylor leadership. The RN II is responsible for delivering personalized, high-quality, patient-centered care in an ambulatory care setting, supporting a seamless and elevated healthcare experience.
This role plays a key role in Baylor' s concierge program and interacts frequently with high-profile patients, including corporate clients, university leadership, and board members. Candidates must demonstrate discretion, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering a premium healthcare experience.
Job Duties
- Performs comprehensive nursing assessments and deliver care aligned with the Texas Nurse Practice Act.
- Coordinate cares and clinic operations, including scheduling and supporting physicians during exams and procedures.
- Administers medications, treatments, and carry out physician orders.
- Prepares patients for tests and procedures; provide education to patients and families.
- Maintains accurate documentation in the electronic medical record {EMR).
- Offers triage and determines appropriate levels of care.
- Provides white-glove service to concierge and executive health patients.
- Collaborates closely with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure seamless delivery of care.
- Serve as a clinical liaison for special populations, navigating unique needs and expectations of VIP clientele.
- Participates in process improvement efforts to elevate concierge program operations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Two years of relevant experience as a licensed Registered Nurse (RN).
- Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the State of Texas Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
