Summary

The Baylor College of Medicine Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology program continues to expand and seeks an additional staff cardiologist at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor. The program is located at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center, home of the Texas Heart Institute. The successful applicant will join an experienced team of cardiologists and cardiothoracic surgeons at Baylor's nationally recognized advanced heart failure and heart transplantation program. They will staff the inpatient heart failure, mechanical circulatory support and heart transplantation services at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center and practice ambulatory cardiology in the Baylor Heart Clinic. Leadership opportunities are available in our Cardiogenic Shock program and regional heart failure system integration. Research opportunities are also available, depending on experience and interest.

Applicants must have an M.D or D.O. degree, be ABIM board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and be board certified or board eligible in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology. Applicants must also qualify for a full and unrestricted Texas medical license. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated excellence in clinical cardiology, teaching and research.
