Job Description

Summary

The Epidemiology and Population Sciences Program within the Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Center is the largest program devoted to pediatric cancer epidemiology in the nation. The program focuses on integrating its pediatric cancer etiology and survivorship research across the clinical and research endeavors at Texas Children's and Baylor College of Medicine's Department of Pediatrics.

The program is currently seeking a senior-level Faculty member to join as Co-Director to further the program's goals, secure extramural funding, and collaborate on high-impact peer-reviewed manuscripts.

  • Co-leads the Epidemiology and Population Sciences Program.
  • Collaborate with other Faculty members and researchers on interdisciplinary research projects.
  • Contributes to the publication of peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts.
  • Contributes to team science and independent grant applications.
  • Partner closely with Cancer Center administrative leadership to create cohesive program leadership.

Required Education: MD or PhD

Required Experience: Minimum of 5 years post-Fellowship
